Every Saturday at our Studios near Abbey Wood, we run a Stage School - comprising Dance, Drama and Singing - for children of two different age groups.
We are proud that in September 2019 we will be entering our NINETEENTH year of running Stage School to children! We can hardly believe it ourselves...
Dance/Drama/Singing for age 4-8
Dance/Drama/Singing for ages 9-17
We are currently accepting applications for new enrolments in both groups - if you think you would like to send your child or children along to us, just fill out our application form here and we will be in touch to organise your first visit.
Our Saturday programme has several main aims - the first of which is FUN! We want your children to enjoy every moment they spend with us. While they are doing this, we will target some of our other main aims too...
Building confidence - the work we do is designed specifically to help children develop communication skills and become expressive and thoughtful young people and build confidence that will last a lifetime.
Physical activity - most of the time your children spend with us, they will be on their feet being active and healthy. Movement, energy and physical exertion are a priority for us: we are determined to help our children keep moving and staying super-fit!
Building an appreciation of the Arts - this is an often neglected area for children. We hope to help them develop a love of music, drama, dance and all things expressive and artistic. We believe it is good for them. We believe it is good for all of us that our young people are brought up this way. We nurture and promote a lifelong love of the arts.
Stage Stars and MTA children take part in regular performances and BTDA examinations. Our tutors are all DBS certified practitioners carefully selected to work with our students, giving them a taste of their first hand experience working as professionals in the world of dance, theatre and television.
If you have questions about joining, please feel free to get in touch to discuss your needs further.
